RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
OOC: Correction. Jack just got wupped by a half vampire ;)

IC:
Role Playing as Jack Miller

Jack hadn't expected the counter and he got hit by the heel smack in the face, sending him crashing to the floor, however he was up and running again in under a second. "Nice one..." he said, wasting no time in sending off another couple of Stunners and diving again, making straight to knock Lilli to the floor. He was really getting into this.

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
Role Playing as Lillin Meahra

Lilli laughed as he still got up, when it came to physical combat, Lilli had no equal. She jumped over his attack then rolled and was up again. This time she went on the offensive and swung a kick into his chest, then countered the attack by using her shoulder to tackle him, an attack that would send any man flying.

It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
OOC: Sorry guys, haven't been able to go online this weekend. Basketball games again. XD Let me do a bit of power playing here since some of you didn't followed the rules. You could have sent me a PM Jenni that you were going to use "other" spells. :P I will now dismiss the class. Should there be anyone who wants to have a second one straight away then just let me know. I would be more than glad to plot it with you guys. :)

"Expelliarmus!" his voice boomed across the entire room, it was so loud that the rest of the students suddenly stopped and was shocked to hear Leon roar like a lion.

Leon's wand was so fast as if invisible as he flicked it to disarm one of his students, Lillin. He then continued to flick his wand to block the rest of the spells the other students have sent out directly to their opponents. This has gone too far, Leon thought.

Earlier before things have gotten worse, Leon was quietly watching everybody duel. Some of them were pratically following orders while most of them weren't. One spell after another, these kids won't just listen or are they this hungry to duel that even a stunning spell wasn't enough?

"I am quite sure that my instructions were clear, Ms. Meahra?" his voice was a bit rough and was dead serious. Leon was holding Lillin's wand tightly on his left hand and wasn't planning on giving it back yet. He then gave him a cold, piercing stare and continued. "I don't quite remember instructing you students to use any physical contact to your opponents." Leon then gave Lillin's wand back and reached it out to him. "As for the rest of you, I am utterly disappointed with what you students have shown here today. Duelling was never meant to harm but should be used for defending oneself! If you think that duelling is meant to hurt someone then you're no different than a wizard who ponders and loves the dark arts."

He then paused, looked at the rest of the crowed and gave the final instructions, "The duelling class is now dismissed! You may all go." He then wondered what would happen to the next duelling class?

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
OOC: It was Adam, my other character that was using the heavy handed spells. Lilli can't help it. :P

Lilli scowled at the professor, "Give me back my wand. I hardly even used any spells and I made sure that I only used the stunner. Physical combat just makes it more interesting." She grinned at him slightly before snatching the wand back, "I'll take that thankyou."
She glanced at Jack to quickly make sure that he was okay before she stormed out the room, she was already sick of this school.

Role Playing as Adam Tallorn

Adam tried to stifle his laughter as Lilli got told off for using physical behaviour against her opponant instead of magic, he then turned to Kayla, "That was some nice fighting there. Didn't think you were up to it at first I have to admit."

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
Kayla curtsied playfully. "Probably a good thing he stepped in. I nearly used Serpensortir on you." She teased with a vicious grin and glittering eyes. She looked at Leon. "Mm.... However we weren't harming each other. We were only playing and our spells weren't particularly dangerous." She said softly as they picked up their stuff to leave. She was talking loud enough for her teacher to hear but only enough so it seems like it was directed at Adam.

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
Hearing the lesson was over, he lowered his wand and gave a deep bow to Evan. "Glad to know there are people who can duel in this school." He then turned and left, off to do this and that for the remainder on the day.

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
Facepalm.
He shook his head, took a deep breath and straightened his coat.

"I won't hear any excuses from you Ms. Blake. The rules are there for a reason and breaking the rules is pretty much the same as having the intent to hurt someone, am I wrong?" Leon said, he then looked over to one of his students named Kayla as the other students started to leave the room.

While waiting for everyone to leave, Leon drew out his wand, flicked it once and all the seats were back to the way they were earlier. The room then began to slowly drown in silence as most of the students have already left.

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
Kayla turned at the door and grinned at him. "Yes but if all rules are followed.... then life would be very boring." She replied cheekily. "At least thats what my Grandfather Donovan Used to say." With that she turned to leave once more.

RE: The Duelling Club - Lesson 1
OOC: The Mack or The Box (Yes, that means you, Tool Box.) Could you guys close this thread now? The class is now finished and everybody have already left the room.

Role Playing as Leon Silverberg

Boring?
Leon smiled at Kayla as she left the room. Something about what she said made him remember something he learned before, it is that Silverberg's don't follow any rules. In war, following orders always makes you predictable. That is how they think and that is how they do things.

Another thing that made Leon stay behind was the mention of a name, a name that he have heard once or twice from his father. Donovan. Something about that name rings a bell, where and when was it? Leon can vaguely remember a visit with his father to someone's grave.

A grave carved with a name he cannot forget, Vergil Black, A Death Eater, Gilver's twin brother and Donovan's colleague.

"Nothing much I can do about that well since he's already dead and all." Leon then started to walk out the room deep in thoughts. He wondered how many students here were related to my grandfathers before?
