RE: DATDA Class 3
OOC: A hint? Where?
Tool I think you might have to prod Oliver - PM him or something. He doesn't appear to be around. Role Playing as Evan Koth Evan looked up, momentarily intrigued. Suddenly it all made sense. This strange, slightly dodgy old man, had been here in the old Hogwarts! Now that this long-standing mystery had finally been resolved, he found himself rapidly losing interest once more. Instead, something far more interesting was promising to happen now - last time 'Oliver' had been used as a guinea pig it had been with a spell beyond most students' wildest dreams. Would he go as far again? At least they were finally back to real DATDA.

RE: DATDA Class 3
Role Playing as Oliver Brown Oliver stepped to the front of the room, a calm smile playing accross his face. He didn't know what Tool had in mind, but it was sure to be interesting, if not mortally endangering. He turned to face the class, placing a hand casually at his side, ready to draw his wand in a split second if the need arose. He hoped they wouldn't be doing crucio again, that just didn't seem right. But Tool had mentioned defensive magic, so most likely whatever he would be hit with had a possible counter spell to be employed, so long as it wasn't some form of ancient magic only Tool knew. |

RE: DATDA Class 3
Role Playing as Tool Box Tool's lips curled into a half smile as Oliver approached. "Now, you should know about the protego spell, the sheild spell. If you're doing duelling class, you will know this, or if you haven't been taught this yet, then you will be soon no doubt. Protege is a simple spell that will deflect simple spells, hexes and curses etc, but offers no protection against the sort of things your likely to encounter during a proper duel. By proper duel, I mean against a dark witch or wizard, not against another school child." said Tool, conveying his dislike of the subject of duelling class in his speech. "The other thing wrong with duelling class, is you do everything one step at a time. 'You send this spell and you block it, go' sort of thing. That is not how a proper duel works. Oliver, if you will consent to being my dueller today, I want to do my first demonstration of a proper duel. The things to watch for here class, is the speed in which spells are performed, the speed of battle, and the sort of spells used." Tool withdrew his old wand, chipped in places from years of abuse. "Draw wands then Mr. Brown." Tool however had no intention of allowing him to draw wands. Proving the point by very quickly stating to the class, "Note, duellers generally won't give their opponent the chance of defending themselves." A curse shot out of Tool's wand as he spoke.
