Bored And Nothing To Do
Role Playing as Jack Miller

Jack sighed, stuffing his gloved hands into his pockets. So much had happened recently, and it was such a relief to get away from it all. With nothing else to distract him, he couldn't help but his mind drift to Lilli and Evan; what an odd couple they were. Perhaps he should get to know the latter, so he could see if he was really worth of her heart. Not that it was any of his business; but since when did that matter? Heh. If Tiffany could read his mind right now she'd be seriously disappointed. He really needed to stop obsessing over Lilli, but he couldn't help it. One moment he had been practically in love with her, the next terrified out of his wits. And Jack was never terrified; she was obviously quite the lady.

Serious Cafe. Meh. He had nowhere else to go. He stretched out his hand and slowly pushed the door open, instantly hit by the whiff of warm coffee. He could really do with one of those. Heaving a sigh of relief to be out of the cold, he ripped his gloves and hat off and wandered over to the counter. "Coffee, please," he said shortly, still not entirely concentrating on what was going on around him. It arrived promptly, and he gripped it as if his life depended on it, trying to get as much of its searing heat into him as he could. Finding an empty window table, he sat down and began to drink.

Role Playing as Adam Tallorn

Adam wandered around Diagon Alley, wondering where he could go and what he could have a look at. Passing by a Cafe the smell of coffee granules almost made him gag, he didn't exacly like coffee but he noticed one of the students having a drink inside.
He stared at him for a moment, looking slighly puzzled before he wandered in and stood next to him, smiling brightly, "Heya mate, you're in my class but I don't think we've met properly before. My name's Adam. And your's is?"
He grinned at the waitress asking for a nice hot chocolate.

It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

Jack glanced up, sensing more than anything else that he was being watched. Spotting a fellow student, he broke into a smile before pausing - coffee half way to his lips - as he recalled something that had happened in a previous lesson. This guy had been with Kayla when she had had that spat with Lilli and Evan; perhaps he could glean some more information off of him. "Hey," he replied, relaxing again as he practically melted under the warm drink. "I'm Jack. Here," he said, offering up a seat. "Sit down. Hot chocolate, good choice, although I don't think I could myself with all the coffee aura around here."

Adam grimaced slightly at the mention of coffee as he picked up his hot chocolate from the main counter and took a seat next to Jack, "Hey, thanks. Don't really like coffee, mostly came in here coz I was bored and didn't have much to do. Saw you and thought that I could get to know you better."
He grinned at him again, before taking a quick drink of the hot chocolate, glad for the warmth away from the cold snow outside, "It's getting colder out there I swear." He shivered slightly, he'd made sure that he was wrapped up warm but the cold still got through to him.

"Sounds good. I thought I'd just pop into here to get out of that infernal cold - you're right, I don't remember the last time it was this bad; I'm going to lose a finger or something at this rate," Jack paused for a moment, sipping as his drink more now that it wasn't so scaldingly hot. "Diagon Alley brings up a lot of memories for me; it was my best connection to the magical community when I was younger - my house is near to here and I used to come here a low. Come to think of it, I even remember this very cafe," he smiled, nostalgia momentarily overcoming him. "How about you? Whereabouts are you from?"

"Ah, here and there, my parents move around a bit. They always tried to give me an education in magic and muggle life as well.It was hard at first but you get used to it. They always strive for perfection." He thought back for a moment, "At the moment I live in central London."

RE: Bored And Nothing To Do
Mosden was tired. Between the severe lack of sleep and biting cold outside, he felt like he might pass out. Pulling his robe closer to him and shaking his head violently to stave off the droopy feeling, he walked down the street, unsure of where to go. Then, he smelled it. Something wonderfully bitter just to his left. Turning and looking up, he saw it was a cafe. His eyes widened passed their close to closed state. It was just what he needed! Hurrying in, he moved to the front counter.

"Give me the strongest drink you have please." He mumbled through chattering teeth. He usually dealt pretty well with the cold. Maybe he was getting sick. Taking his drink and thanking them, he slowly walked over to a place to sit. He didn't pay too much attention to where that was, and found himself sitting next to Adam and Jack.

"I suppose that's a nice balance to have, although I wouldn't like moving around too much; doesn't it make it difficult to form ties and relationships with people?" he asked before looking past him as he had spotted another Hogwarts student. "Hey," he called, although he didn't appear to have heard him. "Hey," he tried again, now that he had wandered over to their table. "I'm Jack."

RE: Bored And Nothing To Do
Mosden had completely blocked Jack out the first time he had greeted him. However he managed to hear the second greeting, causing him to look up. "Hello....." He said, fighting back a yawn. "I'm M-Mosden." He greeted back before tipping the cup to his lips. The smell and bitter taste of the caffine hit his senses and he shivered. He put the cup down and paid more attention to the two boys near him. One was Adam, a boy he knew but didn't speak to much. He had also seen Jack around, but never spoke to him. "Came to warm up?"

Adam frowned slightly, "Yeah, I guess so, but it's also pretty interesting, you just never really get to see any of your old mates."
When he spotted Mosden he grinned at him, "Hey Mosden. Nope, was cold out there, but more or less wandered in coz I saaw someone I recognised." He gave them both a little wave, moving to sit next to them both again, "Ugh... Coffee, why do cafes have to sell coffee?"
