Charms Class - Lesson 5
Role Playing as Vernette Flourentine Vernette took a seat at her desk. The time was 12:50 in the afternoon, and already she could her the distant rumble of students finishing lunch and departing from the Great Hall. She opened up her lower left desk drawer to reveal a small black box, and her still animated rock snake. The snake was coiled around the box, as if protecting it. "Atta boy," she said, carefully removing the box and inspecting it's contense. All 10 glass balls filled with smoke were still safely inside, wrapped in cotton to prevent any accidental breaking. She placed the box back in the coils of her snake and closed the drawer. It was an odd thing to have an animated rock snake in ones drawer, but Vernette found it to be rather appealing, knowing she had one more layer of defense should any students, or vampires, go crazy in her class. Turning away from her musings and towards the door, Vernette unlocked and opened it with a wave of her wand. Today was a test day, and she didn't want any students trying to get out of it by saying her door was shut and they didn't think class was in session. Last, before the students arrived, Vernette took out a large pot with a lid on it and placed it on her desk. A faint, dynamic, beat could be heard from within the pot. "A little treat for when they finish," Vernette said to herself, hoping that positive reinforcement would keep her students in line today. And so the wating began. |

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
Role Playing as Jack Miller Jack was first into the room, and almost died from the shock. Once he had recovered, he slowly walked over to one of the many empty seats and sat down, nodding a greeting at the Professor before pulling out his wand and whispering the words to the various charms that they had had to learn repeatedly in his head, trying to make up for his lack of revision. He had, after all, been up to far more important things recently. He stopped his endless wand movements, going over the events of the previous evening again and again, trying to figure out if it really had been as perfect as he'd thought.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
Role Playing as Tiffany Beck Tiffany walked into class a few moments after Jack. Where was everyone? Class was starting any minute. She herself was surprised to have made it on time, having gotten almost no sleep while studying for the test, and falling aslee at the lunch table. She took a quiet seat next to Jack and put her head down on her desk with a long sigh. How she missed her warm bed. The sooner she got in and out of classes for the day, the better. No matter the result of her test in charms, at this point. |

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
Mosden couldn't wait for his favorite class! He gave a huff as he walked in, overall in a bad mood. She still had his items and there was a test today. He might as well have just stayed in bed, considering he wasn't too sure he'd pass. But hey, at least he'd give it a try. He sat down somewhere in the middle, making sure to pay enough attention that he wouldn't miss anything said.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
Role Playing as Evan Koth Evan walked into the room just in time to see 'Jack' greet another girl and put his arm around her! Lilli wasn't doing her job very well, now was she? Although it was true that he had told her to stop. "Morning Mosden," he muttered, moving forwards and taking a seat next to him, glancing up at the Professor as he did so. A test today. What a waste of his time. Did the teacher not trust him to practice on his own?

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
Mosden gave a nod of his head. "Morning. Do you know if the test is over everything we learned since school started?" He thought back to how he had skipped the first couple classes. He silently hoped he wouldn't fail.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
"Oh, yeah, you weren't there at the start," Evan replied, remembering. "It probably will be. Do you know what we were doing?"

Mosden shook his head. "No idea. I don't really talk to many people. Do you remember?" He asked, hopeful Evan could help him.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
"Mmm..." with that word his mind drifted back, back to the first lesson he had had with Lilli, back to their very first lesson. "I'm not sure how much you've done, but I think we've done Lumos, Alohomora and Wingardium Leviosa. You were there for the last two, weren't you?" he asked.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 5
Mosden shook his head. "I've only learned the Alohomora." He had a grasp on the Unlocking charm, having practiced all day that day. "I know a variation of Lumos that I can use, so I guess I'll use that, but what is the wand movement for Wingardium Leviosa?" He asked, having only heard that spell mentioned.
