Role Playing as River Theodwulf

The snow coated hood was pushed back. Cold blue eyes glanced around the corridor and a cigarette was placed into a holder. A flame appeared on the filter, lighting it before dying out to an ember that ignited when a toke was taken. The luggage beside her was wet from the snow as was her cloak. Smoke surrounded her body as she breathed it out. "Welcome home..." She told herself.

Footsteps broke her gaze from her surroundings and her expression sharpened. She folded her arms and watched as the owner of the footsteps emerged into view.

Tool walked around the corner and noticed the smell of smoke immediately. He clicked his fingers, and the cigerette went out.
"There will be no smoking inside the castle. You must be the new Professor, I'm Professor Box," he said, approaching her, "but I will warn you, break rules and I will treat you like a student. I trust you know where your office and living quarters are?"

River looked at her cigarette and vanished it from her hand. "I apologise... Bad habits." She held out her hand in a shake. "And yes I know my way. I'm Professor Dearheart." She smiled pleasantly but politely. It was interesting to see her old teacher again. And he was clearly older looking than she'd remembered.

Tool took her hand and shaked it. As he did so, he had the feeling that he had encounted this magic hand before, in a long and forgotten past.
"Professor Dearheart..." he murmered, almost trying to place the name. "Tell me, have we met before?" he enquired.

River rubbed her hand when she got it back. "Possibly. The wizarding world is far smaller than the muggle world... and even they get to meet each other more than once." She replied curtly. "If it helps... My first name is River."

"River... Dearheart..." he repeated slowly. The name as a whole did not mean anything to him. However, he suspected that after nigh on a hundred years, people would change their names. The magical trace he could feel coming from the hand, the name... River Theodwulf, Death Eater, was back in his castle once again. "Nope." he replied. "I must have been mistaken."

Role Playing as Leon Silverberg

"You're getting old, Tool, really."

Leon came out from behind and waved his hand to greet Tool with a smile on his face. He was walking around the grounds doing nothing until he stumbled upon the two. The other person on the crowd was the new Transfiguration professor everybody was talking about. Leon then walked up to her and reached out his hand to greet the new faculty member.

"Leon Silverberg, Head of Ravenclaw House."

River watched him sharply then turned to the new person who appeared. Tool was probably already trying to figure her out. She could feel it. "River Dearheart. Transfiguration." She nodded politely and shook his hand. Her eyes pierced his and she smiled sweetly. "Pleasure to meet you. You look familiar... Have we met? You look like someone I know."

Role Playing as Leon Silverberg

"Oh, sorry, I don't think that we have met before. I am actually new here the same as you." Leon replied.
That was quite odd. He had never met this woman before nor she knew a lot of wizards and witches since he was quite new to the school and the wizarding world. Leon then got the silly idea of her mistaking him for his Grandfather Nero since Leon really looked like an exact copy of him.

"Transfiguration, you say? What were you doing before you came to Hogwarts if I may ask, Ms. Dearhart?", Leon's curiosity was starting to run again.

River nodded. "You may ask. I was travelling mostly. Trying to get away from my family." It wasn't a lie. Not exactly anyway. All lies must contain a partial truth for them to work. "And apologies, I thought maybe I could have met you during my travels but I must have been mistaken... You looked familiar... and handsome too." She added with a soft smile.
