"Nah-uh, I still paid for the food," he countered, wagging his finger. "Merlin's left nipple, I've got it! This is exactly the card I was looking for!" he kissed it unashamedly and stowed it away, treating it as if it were worth its weight in gold.

"You like me?" he bowed in appreciation. "Well, her graciousness must be in a very generous move today," he continued, a grin spreading onto his face. Straightening up, he allowed his mouth to fall open. "Me, weird? You're the one who likes harassing your friends," he said as they walked out of the shop.

Jack slipped his arm through hers. "Well, that'd be Hogwarts for the both of us... want a ride?" he replied, setting off in the direction of school. "I thought we'd take the slow way."
