[16+] We Meet Again
Role Playing as Evan Koth Evan's lips moved imperceptibly, murmuring the code just loud enough so that he would be granted access into Slytherin's dungeon. The entrance swung open and he stepped in, noticing that it was completely empty. Taking the seat nearest to him, he swung his bag off his shoulder and placed it in front of him. He sat up again and, with the posture of a soldier, remained in this position for several minutes as thoughts flashed through his mind. New school... Lilli... he could finally move without fear of attack... Lilli... he should be safe, but he had almost been killed already after his run-in with the thugs... Lilli. He shook himself, trying to somehow expel his thoughts of the girl from his mind. He couldn't. He was opening up to her again; just as he had opened up on that fateful day in Hogsmeade. But was she feeling the same? Or was she still in her normal state, emotionless and practically devoid of life? He couldn't tell. As these thoughts took over him, the door swung open. He looked up, thoughts of Lilli immediately expelled as his mask descended and he prepared himself for whatever was coming...

RE: We Meet Again
Role Playing as Lillin Meahra Lilli walked into the common room barely noticing that someone was already in there. She threw her bag into a chair in the corner of the room and shook her head at herself, it had been too close today, a teacher holding her back, defense against the dark arts class, Tool Box. These thoughts reeled through her head and she just couldn't get rid of them. That and an unknown strength and energy that had emerged from nothing. She didn't know what to do anymore. When she noticed Evan it almost made her jump, she really wasn't with it. She walked over and sat down next to him and looked at him, at first she didn't reveal anything in her face, but suddenly she couldn't help it, she smiled again. She would have to punish herself later as she knew Evan had slipped his own mask back on. It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

RE: We Meet Again
Evan stood up as Lilli entered the room. He watched her coldly as she threw her bag off her, seemingly without noticing him. His head swivelled round slowly, charting her movements around the room. Once again, the mere sight of her led to a flood of feelings building up inside him. But this time, it was different. This time, he felt nothing but hatred for her. Revulsion that she had almost taken his life; revulsion that she had disarmed him so completely, using her soft skin and her honeyed words. He sat down, his head throbbing even as from the outside he seemed as stony-faced as ever.
Finally she noticed him, and she began to move towards him. Evan looked on unblinkingly as she sat down next to him and smiled. In that instant, his hatred melted away. His eyes softened, unable to build up any resistance against her now that she was so close to him. Once again, she had disarmed him. He smiled back, still not saying anything.

RE: We Meet Again
Lilli didn't know what she felt towards him, she didn't hate him but she was worried about what he felt for her. She would definitely have to punish herself later for what happened and what was happening now. She couldn't control herself or her facial features, "I don't really know... what to say... but I'm sorry. I don't know what's happening to me, but everytime I see you I want to smile... and I can't help but remember back to what happened in the shrieking shack. I really am sorry about that." She'd never said a truer word before and it made her flinch slightly.
Again Lilli was softening her gaze, her smile fading as she put her emotionless mask back on, she didn't know what to do with herself, or what she was feeling for Evan. She just knew that she'd never felt it before. She was trying her best to keep her hands from shaking as she stared into his green eyes.

"Lilli... why should you be sorry?" Evan said quietly, resting his hand on hers. "Lilli, you completed me back there in the Shrieking Shack... I had never been happier in my entire life." He smiled again, freezing mid-way as he realised what he had just said. He withdrew his hand as if it had been stung, instantly regretting what he had just said. "No," he murmured, looking down at his lap. He couldn't bear to face those blazing eyes.
Evan stood up and began to pace the room restlessly, rapidly circling Lilli's chair and always looking blankly ahead of him, taking all his effort not to look to his side. Finally he gave in and he stopped in front of the girl, turning to face her and look into her eyes. Those eyes, burning with life.

RE: We Meet Again
Lilli watched him pace for a second before he stopped in front of her, she couldn't help but gaze into his green eyes. When he'd touched her hand, she felt the feeling inside of her rush through her again. His eyes were so full of life but hers were full of death, because that was what she was, a creature of death. She looked away from him, knowing what she was and what she could do.
"I hurt you... But... it felt so right. I don't know what I was doing." Now it was Lilli who stood up and rested her hands on his shoulders before removing them quickly, "And i'm doing it again." She stepped away from him automatically and began pacing the room up and down...

"You hurt me..." he repeated after her, turning the concept over in his head. She had hurt him and he knew it; she had removed his defences and made him weak. But at the same time, he found himself not caring. He would give up all his defences if it meant being with her. As she rested her hands on his shoulders he jumped, not expecting the move. But as the contact was broken he once again found himself building up defences against the girl, watching her with increasingly narrowing eyes as she paced around the room, her thick brown hair billowing behind her as she marched.
His hand itched towards his wand, and the urge to hurt the girl before him grew stronger. She was acting so nicely to him now, but he knew it was just an act. Just a disguise, to lull him into a false sense of security. He couldn't let her get under his skin again, but at the same time he didn't know how to stop her. His head grew clouded over, weighed down by dozens of conflicting thoughts. A mist descended over his eyes, clouding his vision as well as his judgement. And then, before he knew what he was doing, his wand was out and he was in fighting stance, and he was shouting, shouting with all his might. "Expelliarmus!"

RE: We Meet Again
Lilli stopped pacing and had just turned her head towards him when she was hit by the spell, she flew backwards into one of the large chairs. She didn't know what had just happened but she knew it wasn't anything good, in only a second she was back on her feet her wand at the ready, her eyes turned black as she held her wand high and shouted, "Stupify."
But the energy that she had felt earlier wasn't there, and the spell was much weaker than she anticipated it to be, without her vampire powers to help her she was useless. She didn't know what she'd done to strike such a reaction in Evan but the more she looked at him the harder it was to fight him. She couldn't build up enough anger and hatred to release her other side against him. And frankly, she didn't want to, "Evan!" She tried to shout but her throat caught as she found herself close to tears.

Evan moved in front of the chair Lilli had fallen into, his eyes taking on a new, more sinister hue. He balanced himself on the balls of his feet, waiting for the inevitable counter-attack. He raised his wand, ready to activate the Shield Charm as she attempted to knock him unconscious; he caught himself just in time as he realised she could not. While he remained straight-faced, inside he felt exhilarated; he was finally taking revenge. He would break her for what she did to him. He would break her for doing what she had done to him - for setting him a honeyed trap which he had so foolishly fallen into.
He watched her for a moment, motionless. As he stared at her he once again found himself wanting her - wanting to hold her in his arms and make up for what he had just done. He was doing it again! The girl didn't care to fight him; she thought she could make him succumb to her once more, and then, when he was weak and helpless, she would finish him off. He just wanted to see her suffer; make her suffer as he had suffered. Images of his mother being destroyed flashed into his mind, and suddenly it became clear what he had to do to protect himself. This time he didn't shout; in fact, his lips barely moved as he whispered that terrible, terrible word. "Crucio!"

RE: We Meet Again
Lilli watched him, everything seemed to be moving in slow motion to her, her vampire instincts finally kicking in, only a little too late. She didn't move because she couldn't, then suddenly, the seemingly blinding flash of green light. This time she did cry, tears falling across her cheeks, burning through her skin as the spell hit her. She didn't go flying, she just stood there for a second before collapsing into the floor, her chest burning from where it hit her.
She hadn't even realised what had happened, it had happened so quickly, she just lay there still, keeping the pain locked up, knowing that if she moved even just a little that she would scream. She'd never felt this much pain before, the only thing that gave her away was the tears that were falling on the floor making loud dripping noises. Time was going so slowly and the torture seemed to last a lifetime, the pain was making her body go numb but her thoughts were crystal clear, telling her that she had been right, he had led her into a trap, making her believe that she could trust him when she obviously couldn't. The cold heartless Lilli was covering up the emotions that she'd felt before as she waited for him to finish the spell. It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...
