Charms Class - Lesson 3
Role Playing as Vernette Flourentine "What a day," Thought Vernette, looking at what whe had created in her classroom. Before her, in the center of the room, stood a series of five doors with increasingly difficult locks, ending in a locked safe. Inside the safe she had left a little treat for the first student who could unlock it. "Alohomora spells today," she said to herself, "What a treat." Constructing this obstacle course had taken Vernette most of the morning, and she had finished just in time. The students were due to arrive any minute. "Students," Vernette thought, "Students. Lilli. Evan. Vampire." She cringed. The memories of that awful encounter were still fresh in her head, and she did not want to relive it. Calming herself, Vernette looked over at the newly comandeered suit of armor that stood by her door, and to her desk, where the large snake statue had taken up residence in her bottom drawer. If she could best the vampire once after being ambushed by two kids, she could do it again. Even though she knew this, Vernette still felt apprehensive as she took her seat and waited for the students to arrive, hoping her face didn't give away any emotions. |

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
Lilli walked into the classroom in her usual manner and ignored the teacher at the front of the room. She took her usual place and sat down, she glanced at the locked doors and safe and sighed to herself, this was going to tire her out again.
She glanced at Vernette at the front of the classroom and smiled at her, "Are you feeling okay? You look a little apprehensive professor." Then she went back to ignoring her again and played with a piece of what looked like cheese on her desk. It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
OOC: Cheese? :o
Role Playing as Evan Koth Evan strode into the room, his face lighting up as he saw Lilli already seated there. Realising who else was in the room, he quickly rearranged his expressions. "Good day, Professor," he said evenly, hoping to repair what he had done; he knew that if he was to be under this teacher's jurisdiction for however many years then they had to at least get on. He slowly walked across the room, seating himself next to Lilli.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
Mosden gave a slight groan as he rounded the corner and headed for the Charms classroom door. Today would be the first day that he would go to Charms rather than skipping. He had never found too much of a use for the branch of magic, but realized that if he didn't go at least once in a while, he would get in trouble. He walked through the doorway and saw two students sitting down, one a very pretty girl and another a boy with vibrant green hair. Looking towards the center of the room he saw five doors ending in a locked safe. He also noticed the teacher, who in a normal situation would stand out with white hair and pale skin.
'This should be interesting...' He thought to himself before taking a seat just behind the boy with the green hair. |

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
OOC: Yeah... I just thought it would make things weird :P but cheese is pretty awesome :D i'm just wondering why there was some on the desk :P i mean talk about your dirty classrooms XD
IC: Lilli smiled at Evan as he sat down next to her, revealing nothing on her face that she wouldn't with anyone else. She noted the boy that came and sat down behind them, "You haven't been in before. You'll like this class." She gave him a mischeivous grin before turning back round to look at the piece of cheese on her desk. This lesson was going to be interesting, that was for sure, but at least if she could keep up her concentration she would be able to stay awake.

Role Playing as Jack Miller Jack hurried into the classroom, pausing in the doorway as he took in the scene around him; to his dismay and surprise the green haired boy was sitting next to Lilli! First he had placed his arm over her and now this - he would certainly have to get to know him soon. Taken by a sudden burst of confidence, he strode between the tables and sat himself on the other side of the girl, smiling in greeting as he did so.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
Mosden listened to the girl, smirking as she said he'd like the class. Unless something extraordinary happened, he highly doubted that this would be something he liked. He noticed a another student come in and immediately sit himself next to the girl.
'Well isn't she popular.' He thought to himself, looking at the two boys sitting to either side. His gaze stopped at the green haired boy, something familiar about him making him think. After a moment, his icy eyes lit up in recognition. It was the Slytherin boy he met at the Great Hall! "Hello Evan." |

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
Role Playing as Evan Koth Evan snapped round, not expecting his name to be called out from behind him. He furrowed his brow for a moment, trying to recollect from where he knew this boy. Without making a move to show it, he realised where he had met the boy; it felt like so long ago considering all that had happened since. "Mosden," he said, nodding. "You decided to turn up at last," he remarked, failing to raise his voice at the end to signify a question.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
Mosden nodded. "I'm not used to being schooled in the traditional sense, and charms isn't a favorite of mine, so I've found it hard to motivate myself into going to class." He looked over at the other two, part of him curious about them, the other part wanting nothing to do with more people than necessary.

RE: Charms Class - Lesson 3
Evan shrugged, "I know the feeling, but I know too that if I want to survive in the future I have to have proper schooling - that's what keeps me going to lessons. You won't regret it," he couldn't help but allow his lips to curl upwards as he thought of what, or rather who, else he had gained from coming to Hogwarts.
