Lillin's Detention
Role Playing as Tool Box

Tool had watched the students leave his Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, leaving only him, Oliver and Lilli in the room. He had then talked with Oliver, or as close to talking as you could get considering he had attempted to torture the man. However, even he had left eventually, leaving just Tool and Lilli for her detention. Tool turned his attention to the student.
"I assume you know why you are here? You cannot expect to walk out of my lesson and get away with it Meahra. I noticed your scowl in class when I reminded you of this detention, I can only guess that Koth did not inform you that you had it, despite me telling him to. Never mind, you are here now and we shall begin."
Tool walked back to his desk.
"You get quite angry at the subject we are studying. Why is that?"

she sat looking at her desk, willing herself to calm down and think about this before she went 'funny' again, "I did not expect to get away with it, but you probably wouldn't have wanted me around once I became that angry."
Lilli looked up from the desk and glared at the man, "Tool... Don't you know? I would have thought you would, the man that tortures people in front of students." She smirked, "I would have thought you'd have been smarter than to reveal your identity, Toolbox.
"Only one person has been known to use that spell, the only one that knows how to use it, because he created it. Avada Toolavra. Others have tried to master the spell, but it requires a little more than a normal spell doesn't it? You would know after all, wouldn't you?"

It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

Tool clapped his hands.
"At last. Personally I'm surprised it took so long. It's not hard to trace my movements through history, I don't do so quietly. Had you but done your homework, you'd have seen everything I'm about to teach the class. My rise to power, my fall from grace, my rise again to become the Minister for Magic... right up to the disappearance of Hogwarts itself. But still, now you know. Question is, which relative of yours did I kill? You have a hatred towards me, which is good, and bad. Good, for it shows you know what I've done. Bad, for it is a weakness. Any emotion is a weakness. Emotion is pain, pain is emotion. Your curse did nothing to me for I have no emotion. You, you are young, full of hatred for me, full of... could it be an inkling of love for the boy? You should make your feelings more subtle. A nod would have thrown people off the scent perhaps, but to ignore each other completely? Either way, hatred is emotion enough. You say I was a fool for torturing a man in front of the students. Yet in turn, you tried to torture me. So, how foolish, would this be?"
Tool raised his hand, he knew there was no more need for his wand in front of Lilli.
"Crucio."

Lilli shook her head at the man, "You think this is about a relative. I don't care about any of my relatives!" She lied so forcefully that it sounded true, but ther reality was that it was one of her relatives, but he never killed that relative, "Don't you dare make assumptions about me! You have no right to after what you did!"

When he cast the cruciatus curse on her she moved quickly away from where the spell hit, "You should never underestimate your opponant old man, that's one thing you should have learned by now." She snarled at him slightly, her urges finally starting to take over.

Tool laughed.
"You think I underestimated you? You really think I underestimated someone with vampire tendancies? Yes I know what you are Meahra. And although your charms professor won't tell me, I can pretty much guess what happened in the Slytherin Common Room between you and her. The blood on her robes when I saw her were a large clue, despite the fact she didn't say anything."
Tool continued to laugh as she snarled.
"Go on. Let your urges take you. Give me a reason to snap your body in half Meahra. Give me a reason to snap your soul, to bend your will. Your relatives would be, so proud..."

RE: Lillin's Detention
"Proud of what?! Who do you think did this to me in the first place?" She suppressed her urges for the time being, "Would you really do that to a student? Even you cannot be so foolish."
She stepped backwards slightly, something was wrong with this situation, what was even worse was that she couldn't use her magic without collapsing.

"A student? You consider yourself a student, yet you walked out on my lesson, and assaulted another professor? You need bringing down a peg or two Meahra, so yes, I would consider it. Now, I think it's time for the questions to begin. Why did you walk out of my lesson?"

She quietly fumed, answering his questions through gritted teeth, "Because I didn't like the lesson. I didn't like the subject of the lesson especially."
Lilli was clenching her fists so hard that her nails dug into the palm of her hand, "If you haven't already noticed, I don't exactly like Tool. That's why I left. That's the only reason I left."

"Oh no, you're dislike of me was quite evident. I'm curious as to why. For most of your life I have lied dormant, disappearing with Hogwarts and only reappearing with it. So tell me, what is it that makes you hate me so much Meahra? What is it that makes you go mad when you hear about my triumphs?"

RE: Lillin's Detention
OOC: we will have to post in the reminisce thread I think. I've come up with a brilliant plan. :) One of her relations that was identical to her, but not in personality. She was good. She got involved with the wrong people and ended up facing Tool in a battle. She worked for the ministry and was in charge of keeping an eye on the dark lord.
- i'm wanting it to, but may not happen like this, but the battle become one of the talked about events ever. :P
- although the relation is probably not as strong as tool now, she was almost as strong as him then, so the battle was pretty epic. in the end he didn't kill her though. he drove her insane. he bent her and twisted her and tortured her until all she would do was shake. a once brave, strong person became weak in only a single fight.
- she managed to injure tool.
(how she got into this situation is still unclear but basically, i was thinking, she was tracking his movements until she lost him. going out into the field by herself she found a group of witches and wizards that helped her to relocate him. Just routine, as normal. But... turns out that this group are death eaters or just people that want to help Tool. She finds him, but it wasn't a good thing :P)
How does that sound?

Lilli scowled at him, "You call them triumphs! Do you really not remember? I guess that's all that can be expected of an old man."
Then she smiled at him, "If you want to know so badly, try remembering where you've seen my face before. That would probably give you a big clue."
OOC: The relation's name is Rachael Carlow
