RE: To Catch A Scoundrel
OOC: I dunno, if you haven't already noticed, I kinda make most of this up as I go along. (apart from characters)
It won't be anything too serious without your permission though :P

IC: "No, I wouldn't use him for something as petty as Kayla and Adam, they can be dealt with quickly and easily, and if they continue on this dangerous course then they will soon find out what's so strange about me."
She moved her hands up to his shoulders, and held him there for a second before moving her fingers down his back again.

It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

OOC: xD

IC: "Yeah... especially now that Mosden's on their case too," he replied slowly, remembering what had happened in Charms. "So then what? What's he for? Who else is there to deal with?" he asked, refusing to let the matter rest; he really wanted to know why she was doing this.

She looked him in the eyes, almost melting under his gaze, "Others... That... Should die, for what they did."
Lilli looked at him some more, wondering if he knew who she was talking about.

Evan raised one eyebrow, suddenly finding himself at a loss. "Wha... Who?" He eventually settled on, frantically trying to remember their first proper conversation on that fateful day in Hogsmeade. "Your parents?" he asked eventually, clutching her tighter.

"You don't know what they did, and I love you too much to show you. Because you would hate yourself after." She hugged him tightly and kissed him on the lips gently.

"Why would I do a thing like that, Lilli," he asked quickly before he was drawn into a kiss. Even so, enough of his former instinct remained to remind him that curiosity could bring one no good - it was better not to ask if she really didn't want to show him. "You're safe with me now," he said as he pulled away slightly, before gripping her more tightly as he kissed her back.

Lilli kissed him back, still being quite gentle with him although pulling him even closer towards her, "Evan wouldn't like what they did, and he would hate himself knowing that he couldn't do anything about it." With that her body went limp and she fainted in his arms, the exhaustion finally getting to her.

Evan nodded slowly, deciding that this one was a lost cause. He staggered backwards slightly as her weight collapsed onto him, before gently placing her back down on the stretcher. With a wave of his wand, it began to move back to Hogwarts; Evan in tow.
